Tried route via conversion to ableton live, which works for live (as can be tricket with stereo instead of mono file), but then back into protools (via AAtranslate again) same mono issue. Tricking protools to replace mono with interlaced stereo files (build with excelent tool WavAgent) does not work (relinking fails even though name is identical) All is in but instead of stereo only mono tracks (duplicated referencing same file). Max i can get after > export protools (aaf) > converted to ptf with AAtranslate (as resolve aaf reads only empty tracks in protools ) > import in protools. I tried all kinds of routes but no way i can get it in protools. I am stuck with a project, finished editing and cut on 6 stereo tracks that need protools for final mixing.
